Abercrombie & Fitch RFID-enables omnichannel inventory management
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is enhancing omnichannel fulfillment, inventory accuracy and on-shelf product availability with help from RFID.
Following a successful 15-store pilot, the specialty apparel retailer began deploying the RFID-equipped Nedap iD Cloud Store solution in June 2025, with full implementation scheduled to be completed later in December.
Leveraging Nedap technology, Abercrombie & Fitch iD Cloud simplifies multi-store retail and supply chain management using RFID capabilities and obtains real-time item-level insights into its stock levels and the exact location of each item.

Utilizing the real-time insights provided by iD Cloud, Abercrombie & Fitch intends to boost its execution of essential store processes, including in-store order fulfillment and inventory replenishment from the back-of-house to the front-of-house.
As a result, the retailer intends to enhancing overall productivity, advancing omnichannel performance and positioning it for long-term success via increased inventory visibility.
