Abercrombie & Fitch has a plan for online purchases

Abercrombie & Fitch

Online customers of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. no longer have to pay all at once.

The specialty apparel retailer has officially implemented the Klarna Pay in 4 solution for digital shoppers in the U.S. The solution enables customers to pay for online purchases after delivery, in four biweekly installments. Customers will be able to make installment payments with Klarna for online purchases at the Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids and Hollister Co. banners.

Abercrombie currently offers Klarna's Pay Later service to its customers in Germany, which gives shoppers up to 14 days to pay after their order has been delivered.

The expansion of this partnership to the U.S. comes after the retailer saw success with Klarna’s Buy Now, Pay Later service among its customers in Germany. This service gives shoppers up to 30 days to pay after their order has been delivered.

“Our customers are the center of everything we do, and a forward-thinking approach is crucial when it comes to ensuring our brands evolve with our customers,” said Matt Weger, CIO of Abercrombie & Fitch. “We are excited to provide an enhanced, seamless checkout experience with expanded payment options through our partnership with Klarna. It hits the mark for what our customers need.”
