Woof Gang to open its first stores in California
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is headed to the West Coast to expand its store count.
The specialty retailer of exclusive gourmet treats, food and supplies for pets along with professional dog grooming services will open in first stores in California this month, in San Jose's Evergreen district and Sacramento. The chain says it plans to open 30 new locations in the Golden State during the next three years.
California is the fourth new state that Woof Gang has entered this year, following successful launches in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky, while also opening its first store in Canada. The company plans to enter the new states of Idaho, Arizona and Minnesota before year’s end.

To celebrate the grand opening in Evergreen, Woof Gang will host a special event on Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Throughout the day, visitors will enjoy exclusive offers, raffles and giveaways, including a chance for the first 20 dogs to win free treats for a year.
Founded in 2007, Woof Gang has more than 400 locations open or under development in the United States.
