Walmart and other retailers are once again temporarily shuttering stores — this time because of the weather.
Walmart had 364 stores and warehouse clubs temporarily closed as of late Tuesday afternoon. The closures were in response to extreme winter weather and resulting power outages in Texas, the Southwest and other parts of the country.
Other retailers are also being impacted. Kroger closed some stores and shortened hours at stores in Dallas and Houston. And service has been disrupted at FedEx’s hub in Memphis, reported CNBC, causing package delays across the U.S.
