Wilson Sporting Goods to set up shop at nation’s 'best mall'

Wilson Sporting Goods is putting down roots in Aventura, Fla.

The sports equipment giant is readying to open the doors to a 2,017-sq.ft. location in Aventura Mall, Florida’s largest shopping center, by the fourth quarter. This will be Wilson's second store in the Sunshine state, complementing its existing Naples outpost.

Aventura Mall, nestled near Sunny Isle Beach, halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, was named as the "best mall" in the United States in USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards for the second year in a row. The luxury center also features a long line of luxury brands that include Prada, Dior, Hermès, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Cartier.

The new Wilson store will feature full range of performance equipment and lifestyle apparel spanning tennis, basketball, baseball, football, golf and team sports. Shoppers will also have access to premium in-store services, including racket stringing and personalized equipment customization, reinforcing Wilson's commitment to delivering an elevated, expert-led retail experience.

The new store further extends the brand's growing presence across the country. The retailer opened its first permanent store in 2021, in its Chicago hometown. Wilson currently operates 13 retail locations and three outlet stores across Arizona, California, Florida ,Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Texas.
