A supply chain veteran from CKE Restaurants has been added to Whataburger’s C-suite.

Todd Huetinck has joined the Texas-based burger chain as its new chief supply chain officer, overseeing sourcing, distribution, logistics, food safety, quality management and more. He comes to Whataburger from CKE Restaurants, where he most recently served as senior VP of supply chain management, overseeing operations for 3,000 Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants.

"My first experience at Whataburger was more than 30 years ago during a family vacation in Texas,” said Huetinck. “I'm excited to join the Whataburger family and contribute to the brand's legacy and growth. I was drawn to Whataburger by its rich heritage and legacy, and I look forward to growing the brand while honoring the traditions that shaped it."

Huetinck spent a total of 18 years at CKE, taking on increasingly responsible roles. In 2017, CKE promoted him to VP of quality assurance, leading global quality assurance and food safety for 3,600 restaurants in 40 countries. In 2019, he was promoted to VP of purchasing and quality assurance, and in 2021 he was appointed senior VP of supply chain management.
