Westwood Contractors names new CEO

Westwood Contractors has a new chief executive officer.

The company named Stefan Figley as CEO, a role he officially assumed on December 7. Robert D. Benda, who has served as CEO since 2005, will continue with Westwood as chairman.

Figley, a certified franchise executive, was selected as part of a nationwide search in conjunction with Westwood’s succession plan. He has worked extensively in developing and leading large and small teams both in the U.S. and abroad for national and international brands including Steamatic, where he most recently served as president until its sale to an international public company, Jani-King, ServiceMaster and Leo Burnett Worldwide.   

Having also served in roles of COO, strategy consultant, chief marketing officer and other capacities, Figley’s highly collaborative approach and leadership style results in well-aligned teams within an organization to maximize competitive advantages and exceptional customer value propositions. In addition, he brings a tremendous network of clients, prospects, subcontractors and other resources, further expanding the company’s potential for growth.

Westwood Contractors is a general contractor with 37 years of experience providing general contracting services for retail, healthcare, hospitality, high-end office spaces and distribution/warehouse facilities nationwide. The company is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and has additional offices in Phoenix and Charleston, S.C.
