Westchester County’s Ridge Hill center unveils its new Town Square
“This space is truly an anchor for people to come and gather. We want our guests and neighbors to have a unique and welcoming retail experience and Ridge Hill delivers on that and more,” said Yonkers mayor Mike Spano at a grand opening ceremony.
The remodeling will include modification of the surrounding building facades and the creation of additional space for adjacent restaurants and patios that spill out into the lounge area. The reconfiguration of the former Lord & Taylor department store facing the plaza is expected to begin in early 2025.
“It’s hard to believe the first phase of our vision for reinvesting in Ridge Hill has already been realized, which is a testament to our partners and all the hard-working teams that came together to deliver these beautiful new spaces in just seven months,” said Kevin Polston, project executive at Jamestown, which acquired North American Properties’ retail real estate unit this year.
Jamestown has been active, too, in re-curating the tenant list at Ridge Hill, which is anchored by Apple, Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, iFly, H&M, LA Fitness, and Legoland Discovery center.
Set to open soon at the center are Shake Shack, Court 16, Lenscrafters, D1 Training, and Sunglass Hut.
