Walmart Inc. is thinking big in China.

The discount giant plans to expand Sam's Club, in China to 100 stores by 2028, Bloomberg reports. Currently, there are 26 Sam’s Club warehouses in the country. Revenue has increased faster at the Sam’s Clubs in China, which target middle-class consumers and whose offerings include imported groceries, than it has at the 400 Walmart stores in the country, the report said.

Walmart revealed the expansion plan at an employee meeting in China on Wednesday, according to Bloomberg.

Costco opened its first store in China in August to big crowds. The retailer is planning to open a second location there in 2021.
