Walmart is making some changes to its management team.

Walmart, which has not yet released its holiday results, appointed Scott McCall as executive VP and chief merchandising officer for Walmart U.S., effective Feb. 1. McCall, who joined the company more than 25 years ago and most recently served as senior VP for entertainment, toys and seasonal, succeeds the departing Steve Bratspies. Bratspies has been with Walmart since 2005.

In other changes, the retail giant named Dacona Smith as executive VP and COO of Walmart U.S, effective Feb.1. Smith previously held the title at Sam’s Club division. Dacona started as an hourly associate nearly 30 years ago at Walmart’s store in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Lance de la Rosa, a company veteran, will replace Smith at Sam’s Club.

The changes follow the November appointment of John Furner as president and CEO of Walmart U.S. Prior to that, he was head of Sam's Club.
