Victoria’s Secret veteran joins bridal retailer Vow’d Weddings
An 18-year-plus Victoria’s Secret veteran has joined a company that aims to redefine wedding dress shopping. Ana Angarita has been appointed VP of store experience at Vow’d Weddings, part of the Stand Out For Good portfolio, whose other brands include Altar'd State, Arula and Tullabee.
Most recently, from October 2018 to February 2022, Angarita served as VP of store operations and head of stores for Victoria’s Secret travel retail division. Prior to Victoria’s Secret, which she joined in 2004, she was with Wet Seal.
Vow’d launched in June 2020, with a goal to offer “beautifully crafted” wedding dresses at an “honest” price, along with an “uncomplicated and fun” shopping experience. The dress assortment features exclusive designs, in sizes 0 to 24, and the company promises that orders arrive in days as opposed to months.
The company operates with six brick-and-mortar locations in Tennessee, North Carolina, Minnesota and Wisconsin. It plans to open 11 additional storefronts by mid-2023.
Customers can walk in or book an appointment. The retailer also offers virtual appointments and try-at-home options.
