Untuckit is ramping up its store expansion.

The direct-to-consumer retailer is expanding in 2024 with plans to open 14 stores in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. The expansion will increase Untuckit’s brick-and-mortar footprint to a total of 84 locations, representing 8.6% growth by summer 2024, with the goal of achieving 17% growth by year-end.

The brand specializes in men’s shirts designed specifically to be worn untucked. But its assortment has expanded to include T-shirts, polos, sports jackets and pants. It also offers a limited selection of women’s apparel. In October 2023, Untuckit partnered with Destination XL Group (DXL) to offer an assortment of shirts from the brand in big and tall extended sizing.

The first three new Untuckit stores to open will be in the Los Angeles area, with locations at at Brea Mall in Brea, The Shops at Mission Viego in Mission Viego and Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.

The next wave of locations include Mall of Georgia Ford in Buford, Ga., Coconut Point in Estero, Fla., Menlo Park Mall in Edison, N.J., and the Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington, N.Y.

The new stores, which are expected to open before the end of 2024, will range from 1,400 sq. ft. to 2,500 sq. ft. Untuckit chose the store locations utilizing AI technology in partnership with Placer.ai.

The brand’s store design reflects its strategy of integrating technology to maximize the customer experience. This includes complimentary fittings and steamings, a gift concierge, styling recommendations and text-based checkout

“Since opening our first store in 2015, Untucket locations have been instrumental in driving the business forward as a vital growth initiative,” said Chris Riccobono, founder, Untuckit. “They remain an integral part of our overall expansion strategy, aimed at better serving both new and existing customers."
