Tropical Smoothie Café 2020 store expansion on track

Tropical Smoothie Café continues to expand amid strong results for its third quarter. 

The fast-casual chain has opened 75 new locations across the U.S. to date this year and is on track to open more than 85 new cafes total by the end of 2020. Additionally, Tropical Smoothie has strengthened its growth pipeline by signing 184 franchise agreements year-to-date.

The company said its third-quarter same-store sales rose 19.5%, with year-to-date same-store sales up 3.4%.
