Thrive Market scales and streamlines product information management

Thrive Market is enhancing its PIM capabilities.

A membership-based online specialty grocer is transforming how it onboards and updates product content.

Thrive Market, which carries a curated assortment of organic, non-genetically modified and health-focused products and has grown to more than 1.7 million members, is implementing the Syndigo Product Experience Cloud for Retailers platform.

As a result, the grocer intends to scale product information management, simplify vendor onboarding, and deliver richer product content to members. After a vendor review, Thrive Market selected Syndigo to streamline product content onboarding and updates in an effort to ensure its members receive faster, more accurate product information.

"As we continue to grow, this partnership allows us to work seamlessly with vendor partners and deliver the rich product experience our members expect every time they shop with us."

Key priorities for Thrive Market include reducing a lengthy new product introduction process, enabling vendor self-service, and leveraging staging areas for vendor data. The retailer found that the Syndigo' cloud-native platform provided both the governance and flexibility needed to support its growth and technology requirements.

Other services Thrive Market offers its partner brands include a retail media network in partnership with Instacart in fall 2024. The company is leveraging the Instacart Carrot Ads solution to enable its brand partners to target specific campaigns to consumers shopping on its website with a simplified purchase process for relevant products which are surfaced.

Sponsored product ads are available throughout the Thrive Market shopping experience, and display ads run while consumers are actively building their baskets.
