Target lifts lid on Deal Days discounts
Target has unveiled some of the savings available as its preps for next week’s sales extravaganza.
The discounter has been promoting Target Deal Days, its own two-day mega-sales event running the same time as Amazon Prime Day (July 15-16), since late June. However, Target is now revealing some of the specific promotions it will offer on hundreds of thousands of items on its e-commerce site.
Deals for Monday, July 15 will include 40% off select furniture and indoor rugs, discounts on kitchen brands including Instant Pot and Kitchen Aid, and buy two, get one free on books. On Tuesday, July 16, Target.com and the Target app will offer discounts including 30% off select small appliances, cookware and floorcare, 30% off swim and select sandals, and up to 30% off top toy brands and select sporting goods.
In addition, Target is offering select deals across categories including apparel and home on Target.com only until Sunday, July 14, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Customers can pick up Deal Days purchases the same day at Target stores, including mobile curbside pickup, as well as schedule same-day delivery from Shipt for eligible items. Free two-day shipping is available for purchases of $35 or more, or made with the Target REDcard. REDcard holders also receive a standard 5% discount on all purchases.
Target Deal Days will begin on Target.com early in the morning Monday, July 15, and run through Tuesday, July 16, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Last year, Target countered Prime Day with a one-day sale that the retailer said was one of its biggest online sales days of the year.
