Target is reportedly piloting a partnership with shoppable recipe app Cooklist.
According to the
Dallas Morning News, Target is enabling Cooklist users to order products from 47 Dallas-Fort Worth-area stores for delivery via its Shipt delivery subsidiary. Cooklist offers more than 1 million recipes, and enables users to locate ingredients at partner retailers. While Cooklist also partners with Target grocery competitors including Walmart, Albertsons, Kroger, and Costco, currently the app only allows users to schedule online deliveries with Target.
Target is familiar with Cooklist – the company participated in Target’s
Techstars technology incubator in 2018 and received a $120,000 investment from the discount giant.
