L Brands takes Pink Nation mobile

L Brands’ Victoria’s Secret Pink division has put a mobile spin on its loyalty program.

On Tuesday, Victoria’s Secret Pink unveiled its updated loyalty program, Pink Nation, which is now available through the retailer’s mobile app. The loyalty program features member-only offers and benefits, in-app games, engaging content, and access to exclusive events. The app will also connect users with representatives participating in the company’s brand ambassador program.

A new layout and more intuitive navigation encourages more seamless browsing across new products, favorite items, and access to exclusive shopping offers and promotions that can be directly added to users’ mobile shopping cart. The app also displays trending merchandise, as well as polls, quizzes, stickers and wallpaper.

The app is available for available for iPhone and Android.

The program is free, and currently has two million active monthly users enrolled. New members will receive an exclusive offer upon downloading the app, and a new deal each month, according to the company.

"We've spent the last decade creating this … experience through authentic connections with the Pink girl," says Sarah Sylvester, senior VP of marketing, Victoria’s Secret, Pink. "To build on that special relationship, the new app adds even more innovation and fun."

To bolster membership, the company is hosting a multi-city bus concert tour to introduce the mobile loyalty program to key markets. The tour kicks off in Chicago, on Sept. 22.
