The Home Depot expands partnership with Pinterest

The Home Depot is going deeper into home décor.

The home improvement giant is expanding its partnership with Pinterest, specifically the social media platform’s ‘Shop the Look’ visual discovery feature to include more than 100,000 new shoppable home décor products, including vanities, faucets, lighting, textiles, tabletop and interior décor.

Using the feature, Pinterest users can search and buy similar products to those featured in Pinterest Pins. To shop a Pin, users can tap the circle on a product on Pinterest to see similar items that are available for sale through The Home Depot.

The Home Depot said the expansion of its partnership with Pinterest complements retailer’s growing online catalog of home and interior décor products, including its recent acquisition of The Company Store to broaden capabilities in textile development and sourcing.
