Target Corp. is extending its collaboration with a long-time partner as it adds a new brand to its growing roster of home goods.

The discounter will launch a limited-edition collection of home goods and lifestyle items with Levi Strass & Co. Target’s partnership with the denim-maker started in 2011 with the debut of a value denim brand and expanded in 2019 with Levi’s Red Tab. (Target will expand the Red Tab brand, with curated in-store displays, to 500 locations by fall 2021.)

The new limited-edition line, called Levi’s for Target, will include more than 100 items “crafted with durability and sustainability in mind,” according to the retailer, and include home goods, pet products, apparel and accessories. (According to reports, 90% of the assortment will be for the home.)  The collection, which launches on Target’s website and in most stores on Feb. 28.,is the first home partnership for the Levi’s brand.

“Strategic partnerships like our work with Levi’s have long been a key part of Target’s success, allowing us to offer our guests the very best national brands alongside our incredible assortment of owned brands,” said Jill Sando, executive VP and chief merchandising officer, style and owned brands, Target. “Through this partnership, we’re able to offer a collection of items guests can’t find anywhere else, with pieces that exemplify the values and design prowess of both the Target and Levi’s brands.”

Target did not reveal the individual products that will make up the new collection. But it noted that the materials that make up each item focus on durability and offer more sustainable certifications and claims than any past Target limited-time-only design collaboration. For example, items within the collection feature recycled glass, Fair Trade USA, GOODWEAVE and FSC Wood certifications.
