Target opening 11 stores in July — here are the locations

Target is on track to open 30 stores this year.

Target Corp. continues to expands it remains on track to build more than 300 stores by 2035.

The discounter is opening 11 stores this July, part of more than 30 new stores planned for 2026. All top Target’s 125,000 sq. ft. store average. The company also announced several upcoming locations with no opening dates. (All locations listed at end of article)

The new stores are part of Target’s $5 billion capital investment plan for 2026, which will also help support not only the new stores but also more than 130 remodels, alongside an investment of hundreds of millions of dollars in additional store payroll and training to improve customer service.

"Our continued commitment to opening new stores is really about showing up for our guests and our communities — and it starts with our incredible store team members,” said chief stores officer Adrienne Costanzo, who started her Target career 20 years ago at T-108 in Evansville, Ind. “These new stores give our teams the tools and environments to bring our merchandising strengths to life, create easier and more inspiring shopping experiences, and use technology to move smarter and faster every day.”

The following Target stores officially open on July 26:

Arizona: Mesa (Target will be the first retailer to open as part of a new Medina Station shopping center in Mesa);

California: Perris;

Colorado: Firestone;

Florida: Lake Nona;

Kentucky: Frankfort;

Massachusetts: Springfield (East);

South Carolina: Seneca (Seneca is a back-to-college shopping destination with its proximity to Clemson University);

South Dakota: Brookings (Brookings is a back-to-college shopping destination with its proximity to the campus of South Dakota State University);

Texas: Forney;

Texas: Little Elm (Aubrey); and

Utah: Logan.

Target also has new stores planned for the following locations: 

California: Beaumont, Victorville and Los Angeles:

South Carolina: Lexington;

Texas: Fort Worth, Katy and Liberty Hill.
