Target launching limited-time, 100-plus item collection with Woolrich

Target Corp. has unveiled its latest design partnership.

The retailer is launching a limited-time collection with Woolrich, the iconic outdoor lifestyle brand known for its signature buffalo check. The new offering, Woolrich x Target, launches Oct. 18 in select Target stores and on the chain’s website. 

The collection of 100-plus items spans men's and women's apparel and accessories, home, outdoor gear, and food and beverage, with prices starting at $2 and most items under $40. Select stores will feature a dedicated shopping experience that immerses guests in a world of buffalo check and invites them to explore the collection's cozy textures, Target said.

Woolrich x Target includes Target’s largest-ever men's capsule in a limited-time offering, along with a broad range of women's styles and lifestyle pieces. It will also feature unique additions that include an inflatable kayak, binoculars, journals and more.

For the first time, the retailer will offer three Woolrich x Target items ahead of the launch, exclusively for members of its paid membership program Target Circle 360. The items will be available for purchase online Oct. 14-16, while supplies last, before the collection launches Oct. 18. They are not included in the main collection.

"Woolrich x Target is all about fashion meeting function to help consumers embrace the outdoors in style," said Jill Sando, executive VP and chief merchandising officer, apparel & accessories, home and hardlines, Target. 

To celebrate the launch, Target will debut an "Adventure Is Wherever You Are" marketing campaign shot in New York City by the retailer's in-house team and featuring style influencer Lauren Wolfe and singer-songwriter David Kushner. The campaign captures the playful, optimistic spirit of the collection, showing how the collection fits seamlessly into everyday moments of exploration, style and self-expression, according to Target.

"For nearly two centuries, Woolrich has been synonymous with authentic American outdoor exploring, crafting products built on a legacy of heritage," said Heekyun Kim, Woolrich's creative director. "This collaboration with Target represents an exciting opportunity to introduce our iconic designs, like our legendary buffalo check, to a new generation of explorers. We are proud to create a collection that honors our archives while making the Woolrich spirit of adventure accessible to all."
