Tanger taps Simon exec for operations role

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. is appointing Leslie Swanson as executive VP of operations. 

In this role, Swanson will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Tanger's outlet portfolio, including planning and execution of operational strategies, driving center occupancy, and developing new revenue opportunities. She will report directly to Stephen Yalof, president and COO of Tanger.

Swanson brings over 25 years of experience in shopping center operations, management and marketing. Prior to joining Tanger, she served as executive VP of property management for Simon Premium Outlets, where she oversaw eight straight years of net operating income growth and added 12 new and 15 expanded centers to that portfolio over the same period. She is a graduate of Illinois State University.
