Best Buy Canada unveils October trade-in event
Toronto Best Buy Canada said Friday it has launched an Oct. 16 to Oct. 21 trade-in event, encouraging customers to trade in their unneeded and unwanted electronic devices for recycling.
During the promotion, Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores across Canada will offer trade-in incentives on a number of products.
For trade-in activities in British Columbia, Best Buy said it will work in conjunction with BC Hydro to leverage its "Greener Technology" Program. PowerSmart representatives will be available in 10 stores in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island to educate customers on standby power, energy consumption and efficiency.
Best Buy stores in Canada are a division of Burnaby, British Columbia-based Best Buy Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy Co.
