Signet Jewelers has named two new leaders to oversee three of the brands in its portfolio.

The company has appointed Jamie Cygielman as president of Zales and Banter, and Pam Cloud as president of Blue Nile. Signet says that each leader has more than 30 years of brand building experience, and that their appointments are part of the company’s “Grow Brand Love” strategy.

Cygielman most recently served as global head of dolls at Mattel for the past year, and previously served as the general manager and president of American Girl for more than seven years. As president of American Girl, Cygielman is credited with establishing a new strategic vision that restored sustainable top-line and operating profit growth while strengthening the brand’s relationship with consumers, according to Signet.

Cloud will report to Joan Hilson, Signet’s chief operating and financial officer, to lead Blue Nile’s next phase of growth and transformation.

Cygielman will join Signet effective Aug. 24 and will be based in Dallas. Cloud began her role as president of Blue Nile effective Aug. 10 and will be based in New York City.

“‘Grow Brand Love’ is about creating distinctive brands with clear value propositions and stronger connections to the customers they serve,” said J.K.
