Shoptalk postponed until September; also holding virtual events

Shoptalk, one of the retail industry’s biggest annual events, is among the many shows that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now in its fifth year, Shoptalk 2020 postponed its original March start and will now take place September 14 – 17. The event remains at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. All tickets and sponsorships are automatically valid for the September event. (More information is listed on the FAQs section of its website.)

Shoptalk is also planning virtual conferences, designed as a series of back-to-back panels, presentations and interviews that address critical challenges and opportunities in retail today. They will be conducted via livestream video and organized around a single topic. For more information, go to shoptalk.com.

More than 8,000 individuals attend Shoptalk annually, from almost 3,000 established retailers and brands, startups, tech companies, investors, real estate operators, Wall Street analyst firms and more. The 2020 event is scheduled to have an unprecedented all-women speaker lineup.

Groceryshop, which was planned for September 2020, will be rescheduled to spring 2021, with additional details to be announced in the coming months.
