Sam’s Club offers omnichannel weight loss drug pharmacy services
The warehouse club subsidiary of Walmart is providing consulting for and access to GLP-1 weight loss drugs across multiple channels.
Beginning the week of Jan. 12, 2026, Sam’s Club will provide the first and only oral GLP-1 weight loss medication option approved by the FDA for weight loss, Wegovy. Sam’s Club pharmacies will be receiving starting doses of oral Wegovy (1.5mg) available for dispensing for $149 per month via the manufacturer’s self-pay offers.
Customers who belong to Sam’s Club Plus membership tier will receive free same-day delivery of oral Wegovy doses. In addition, customers seeking more information on Wegovy and other GLP-1 weight loss drugs can gain access to digital wellness tools via the Sam’s Club-exclusive version of the Well health app.
The retailer’s version of the Well app offers GLP-1–specific resources, lifestyle support including nutrition and exercise, and access to an on-demand health concierge team.
In addition, Sam’s Club customers can receive on-the-spot pharmacist counseling on medication management, including guidance on how to start safely and what to expect; as well nutrition and side-effect management tips, including hydration and protein guidance.
Customers can also obtain access to pharmacist-led education and support on a range of therapies, even if they do not fill their prescriptions at Sam’s Club. Starting Thursday, Jan. 8, Sam’s Club Plus members can also talk to a Sam’s Club pharmacist for personalized education and receive a digital voucher for $10 off their next purchase of $20 or more of organic meat and organic produce.
"Members don’t just want the medication," said Taylor Kravatz, PharmD, pharmacy manager at Sam’s Club in Sunrise, Fla. and Sam’s Club’s 2024 Pharmacist of the Year. "They want to understand how to use it well. When people feel supported, they’re more confident and more likely to stick with healthy routines."
Sam’s Club began offering same-day delivery of refrigerated prescriptions to members, with free delivery for members in the Plus tier, in October 2025. The service covers an assortment of medications that require temperature-controlled handling, including GLP-1s as well as insulin, antibiotics and other specialty prescriptions.
