Sam's Club is offering membership discounts and early holiday sales.
October is a very busy promotional month at Sam’s Club.
The warehouse club retailer, a division of Walmart Inc., is currently running a limited-time discount membership offer and also has two online holiday promotions and an in-store Halloween event slated for later this month.
Membership savings
Through Sunday, Oct. 15, Sam’s Club is offering discounts on its Plus and Club membership levels. Plus memberships will be available for new members for $55, 50% off the regular price of $110, for the first year of membership. Club memberships will be available for new members for $15, 70% off the normal $50 fee. Both offers are redeemable in store and online.
Sam’s Club Plus members have access to free shipping on most items, free curbside pickup, 2% back in Sam’s Cash rewards on qualifying purchases up to $500 per year, and free select generic prescriptions. Members with existing Club memberships can upgrade to Plus and receive $20 off their purchase of $40 or more, redeemable in-store only.
Early holiday sales
During October 2023, Sam’s Club will also offer two early holiday promotions. From Friday, Oct. 6 to Monday, Oct. 9.
As part of its new savings events, Sam’s Club is offering online early access to new and existing Plus members, allowing them to shop online two hours early each day of the Flash Savings Event, as well as two-hour online early access on the first day of the Super Savings Event.
Sam’s Club will host an online Flash Savings Event, giving members access to daily offers on products in categories including housewares, beauty, toys, tech and more. Daily offers begin at 12:01 a.m. ET on Oct. 6, with two-hour online early access available for Plus members every day of the event.
From Tuesday, Oct. 10 to Thursday, Oct. 12, Sam’s Club will launch an online Super Savings Event with over $11,000 in savings on more than 100 brands. The event begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on Oct. 10, with two-hour online early access available for Plus members on the first day of the event.

Sam’s Club is celebrating Halloween in stores across the country with trick-or-treating. On Saturday, Oct. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. local time, members and their children can wear costumes and collect treats from more than 10 candy stations set up around the store.
