Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. has made two key appointments as it works to expand its digital capabilities.
The company named Kevin Metz as VP of e-commerce and Vanathy Lakshmi as VP of digital product. Both hires follow Sally Beauty's previously announced investment in talent and capabilities in digital commerce.
Metz most recently served as chief marketing and digital officer of jewelry supplier Stuller, following e-commerce leadership positions at Ulta Beauty, Yankee Candle and Cache. He will lead the growth plan of all Sally Beauty’s North American digital commerce businesses.
As VP of Digital Product, Lakshmi will be responsible for the digital guest experience and digital product roadmap across all Sally Beauty’s digital activities. Most recently, she was senior director of digital product at Walmart, following product leadership experience at Pier 1, Academy Sports and Frontgate.
"We are thrilled to add Kevin and Vanathy to the team to start leveraging their extensive expertise in e-commerce as Sally Beauty continues its digital transformation.
