Saks Fifth Avenue is adding services and benefits, including free rush shipping, to its SaksFirst program.

The upscale department store chain now offers SaksFirst rewards members free basic alterations, with additional new benefits for eligible members including early access to sales, a “Saks at Your Service” rewards card, free rush shipping, in-home styling sessions, and “try before you buy.” Members can use the Saks at Your Service rewards card for in-store perks including handbag repair and beauty services.

Updates to SaksFirst benefits include two points per dollar spent on all purchases made outside of Saks Fifth Avenue and lowering the threshold to reach the second “elite” benefits tier from $5,000 annual spend to $2,500.

In addition, holders of SaksFirst store cards and credit cards cardholders will receive a $25 Saks gift card for every 2,500 points earned, and earn SaksFirst points on in-store and online purchases made at Saks and Saks Off 5th.

“As a leading luxury shopping destination, we strive to offer our customers multiple opportunities to experience the best in fashion and beauty,” said Emily Essner, chief marketing officer, Saks Fifth Avenue. “Strong customer relationships are the foundation of our business and why customers choose to shop with us. These latest updates to our SaksFirst program give us new opportunities to thank and reward our customers for their continued loyalty.”

As part of the HBC brand portfolio, Saks operates in 40 stores across the U.S. and Canada, as well as an e-commerce site and mobile app.
