Rosedale Center welcomes Dick's as newest tenant
A next-generation Dick’s Sporting Goods store is coming to Rosedale Center in the Twin Cities area.
The JLL-owned 1,142,972-sq.-ft. shopping center in Rosedale, Minn. has announced the completion of a new 80,000-sq.-ft. Dick’s location. Rosedale Center will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 16 with a grand opening community celebration scheduled for Oct. 26 that will feature celebrities, sports mascots, cheerleaders, and more.
The new Dick’s store features next-generation amenities, including golf hitting bays with TrackMan technology, a HitTrax multisport cage, House of Cleats, equipment services counter, an expanded premium footwear selection and apparel, accessories, and equipment from the best-known brands. JLL’s retail development partner, Poag Development Group, led construction management of the project at the space formerly occupied by Herberger’s.
The addition of Dick’s comes after several recent milestones at the center including hosting NHL WildFest and the opening of a new police substation opening in September. Woodhouse Spa, a leading, luxury concept centered upon health, wellness, and self-care, opened in July 2024. Other tenants to join the center in recent months include Ikea Design Studio, Lululemon, Anthropologie, Warby Parker, Hollister, and Shake Shack.
“Each and every day, we are focused on delivering a better experience, more choices and uniqueness to the Rosedale Center guest,” said Lisa Crain, VP of retail/general manager at the shopping center. “The addition of Dick’s as well as other new additions are part of our ongoing efforts. We will continue listening to the community and our guests as we create the premier destination in the area.”

Holly Rome, JLL’s executive VP of national retail leasing, and Lane Walsh, JLL’s VP of national retail leasing, lead the effort at Rosedale Center to secure the lease for the next-gen Dick’s store..
“Consumer needs and wants continue to evolve and we will evolve with them,” said Rome. “We continue to seek out forward-thinking, unique brands that appeal to our visitors.”
Rosedale Center is centrally located between the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and features over 150 retailers.
