  • Baskin-Robbins expands Southern California, Detroit footprints

    Canton, Mass. – Baskin-Robbins is expanding its footprint in Southern California with both existing and new franchisees from San Diego to Bakersfield, California. Existing Baskin-Robbins shops also are available throughout Southern California.

  • Fall-ing into the Holidays

    Observant shoppers will have noticed something ominous in recent weeks: the arrival of fall and winter products and holiday marketing/promotions in many stores. As unbelievable as it might seem, considering the fact that much of the country is still experiencing 90-degree heat and a glance at the calendar shows that it is barely September as I write this, the holiday hullabaloo is already underway.

  • Beyond the Rack signs New York lease with Handler Real Estate

    New York - Online retailer Beyond the Rack has signed a long-term, 3,944-sq.-ft. lease at 561 Seventh Avenue, which will serve as the firm’s U.S. headquarters, with Handler Real Estate Organization. The tenant, relocating from the Bryant Park area, will occupy the entire third floor at 561 7th Avenue in December, pending build-out of the space.

  • Auction platform Worthy to move headquarters to NYC

    New York – Worthy, a secure online marketplace for pre-owned luxury goods, will be moving its global headquarters into New York City's jewelry district. The company will be moving into the 28th floor of the Fred F. French building located at 551 Fifth Avenue.

  • Dollar Tree brings Pelham Manor to 100% occupancy

    Oak Brook, Ill. - Dollar Tree has signed a 12,767-sq.-ft. lease at Pelham Manor Shopping Plaza in Pelham, New York, bringing the center to 100% leased for the first time since it opened in 2008. The 228,000-sq.-ft. center caters to the surrounding neighborhoods of Pelham Manor, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and the north Bronx.

    Acquired in 2013, the center features national retailers such as BJ's Wholesale Club, PetSmart, Michaels and more. Dollar Tree will be located next to Five Guys Burgers and Fries and is expected to open in early November.

  • Report: Dick’s, Gordmans to anchor proposed Iowa shopping center

    Ankeny, Iowa – Dick’s Sporting Goods and Gordmans are reportedly the anchor stores for a proposed shopping center in Ankeny, Iowa. According to the Des Moines Register, St. Louis-based developer Staenberg Group seeks to begin construction on the project, known as Delaware Commons, in the fall.

    Staenberg Group is seeking to obtain environmental permits relating to wetlands on the property. The center also has space for a third main anchor store, several junior anchors, and other small stores and restaurants.

     

  • Divaris appoints two agents in Virginia Beach office

    Virginia Beach, Va. -- Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced the appointment of Elizabeth Greer and Joseph Lowery as agents in its headquarters location in Virginia Beach.

    Elizabeth Greer is a sales and leasing associate, responsible for office leasing services, including tenant and landlord representation. She is also involved with the redevelopment project of Fort Monroe, located in Hampton, Virginia.

  • Coach Factory to extend pop-up store stay at Legends Outlets Kansas City

    Kansas City, Kansas -- Legends Outlets Kansas City announced that Coach is extending the stay of the area’s first Coach Factory pop-up location through the holidays, until January 2015.
     
    Coach Factory opened its pop-up before Memorial Day weekend and has added new inventory almost daily since opening.
