  • Westwood Financial acquires McCrimmon Corners

    Los Angeles — Westwood Financial Corp. said Monday it has purchased McCrimmon Corners shopping center, located in Morrisville, N.C.

    The 86,267-sq.-ft. grocery-anchored center, sold to Westwood by Crosland, currently is 99% leased. Anchor tenant Harris Teeter is joined by Tossed Salads, Taekwondo Academy, Nikos Taverna, Saffron Indian Food Restaurant, Two Guys Grille, Subway, AT&T, Great Clips, State Farm and Red Dragon.

  • Coyote Management names Chapel Hills Mall marketing director

    Addison, Texas — Coyote Management, L.P. said that Jennifer Hillard will join Coyote Management starting July 18 as the new marketing director at the1.2-million-sq.-ft. Chapel Hills Mall, located in Colorado Springs, Colo. 

    Hillard was previously field communications manager/field trafficking manager at General Growth Properties, Chicago.     

  • Lucescu Realty opens Phoenix office, sells The Promenade in Scottsdale

    Newport Beach, Calif. — Lucescu Realty said it has opened a new regional office in Phoenix, its second office outside its California headquarters. The company recently opened a Las Vegas office and plans to open a San Francisco presence by year-end 2011.

    In other company news, Lucescu Realty said it completed the sale of The Promenade in Scottsdale, for $110 million.  Lucescu Realty represented the seller, a local private investor, and procured the buyer, Excel Trust of San Diego. 

  • Topshop to open in Vegas

    New York — U.K. fashion retailer Topshop in March will open its third U.S. location, a 20,000-sq.ft. Topshop/Topman flagship in Las Vegas’ Fashion Show Mall.  

     As previously reported,  the company’s second U.S. store is due to open this fall, in Chicago. 

  • Payless to open at Marlton Crossing

    Marlton, N.J. — Centro Properties Group US announced that Payless ShoeSouce will open a 3,057-sq.-ft. store at Marlton Crossing, located in Marlton, N.J.    

    Centro, based in New York City, owns the shopping center.

  • Ivanka Trump Collection to open in Soho

    New York City — Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group announced that the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry Collection, a Madison Avenue destination, has moved to Soho at 109 Mercer Street, between Prince and Spring Streets. The store will feature a full collection including jewelry, footwear, handbags and apparel. 

    Ivanka Trump has leased 3,100 sq. ft. of multi-level space on one of downtown's most fashionable streets in Soho, surrounded by Balenciaga, YSL, Agent Provocateur, Hugo Boss and 3.1 Phillip Lim.

  • Three new leases signed at Village at Lee Airpark

    Annapolis, Md. — Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said three new tenants have leased space at Village at Lee Airpark, located in Annapolis, Md.

    Coldstone Creamery has leased 1,240 sq. ft., AT&T Authorized Dealer CellComm has leased 2,076 sq. ft., and Bay Tunes Guitars has leased 1,390 sq. ft.

    All three retailers are slated to open fall 2011, bringing the first phase of Village at Lee Airpark to 98% occupancy.  

  • New leases bring Dunning Farms to full occupancy

    Middletown, N.Y. — Charter Realty & Development Corp. said that three new leases and one relocation, totaling 90,372 sq. ft. has brought the Dunning Farms Shopping Center, located in Middletown, NY., to 100% occupancy.

    Since being brought on to lease Dunning Farms, Charter has executed new leases with Ollies Bargain Basement for 30,775 sq. ft., with Groo Shoes for 3,880 sq. ft., and with Nilsen Insurance for 1,175 sq. ft. What-a-Store has relocated to a 28,000-sq.-ft. store.
