Stuart Weitzman inks deal to open in Shops On El Paseo

Palm Desert, Calif. High-end shoe retailer Stuart Weitzman will open a new boutique in Palm Desert’s luxury shopping district The Shops On El Paseo. The 1,500-sq.-ft. store is slated to open in October.

The redeveloped shopping district in southern California’s Coachella Valley recently welcomed global brands Gucci, Burberry and Bottega Veneta.

"Leading designers like Stuart Weitzman are drawn to the Palm Desert market because it has continued to evolve and grow its global, sophisticated client base which makes up the foundation of the designers' business," said Hanna Struever, principal of Retail Portfolio Solutions, who is leading the remerchandising of The Shops On El Paseo.

Recently completing a three-year redevelopment lead by Churchill Pacific Consultants, The Shops On El Paseo has worked to reposition Palm Desert as a global player in the high-end retail market.
