Simon announces new execs

Indianapolis — Simon Property Group has announced the addition of two executives and promotions within its Premium Outlets division.



SPG has appointed Chidi Achara to a new position as the company’s global creative director responsible for all branding activities, marketing creative and advertising. Achara has worked with the world’s leading brands including Levi’s, Dunhill, Polo Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and others. He also founded and ran the luxury division of the global advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty and is a fashion photographer.



Peter Baxter has joined the company as senior VP luxury leasing, responsible for expanding relationships with Simon’s best luxury brands around the world. Most recently, Baxter was with Value Retail in Europe where he was responsible for leasing and asset management across the portfolio.



Larry Weinstein, senior VP leasing, will assume responsibility for all development leasing for new Premium Outlet Centers and expansions.



Coleen Conklin has been promoted to senior VP marketing and communications. She previously served as VP marketing.
