Opry Mills adds three professionals

Nashville, Tenn. — Opry Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in Tennessee, has expanded its staff with the addition of three new professions. Natalie Smailis has been named marketing/tourism coordinator. Jamie Phillips will serve as guest services manager. Billy Patton will step into the role of director of operations.



In her new role, Smailis will support the director of marketing and business development in revenue generation and in the development and implementation of Opry Mills’ strategic marketing program. A recent graduate of Indiana State University, Smailis received a Master’s degree in Sport Management and a Bachelors of Science in Communications/PR.



As guest services manager, Phillips will take responsibility for gift card sales, distribution of mall directories and general shopper assistance. Phillips comes to Opry Mills with several years of experience in leasing and property management, customer service training, marketing and event coordination.



In the role of director of operations, Patton will oversee property maintenance, construction and contracted services at Opry Mills. Patton has served as operations director at several Simon Property Group properties including Arizona Mills in Tempe, Ariz.
