One Nineteen to be re-branded Town Center Crossing
Leawood, Kan. -- Glimcher Realty Trust announced that it will rename One Nineteen as Town Center Crossing. Glimcher and the owners of One Nineteen and Town Center Plaza will rebrand both centers with new logos, new signage and a shared property directory.
“Our hope by rebranding the properties is to create the Town Center district, marking one of the best retail areas outside of Kansas City,” said Marshall Loeb, president and COO, Glimcher Realty Trust.
Brooks Brothers opened a 7,000-sq.-ft. flagship store last week at Town Center Plaza. At Town Center Crossing, Orvis, a 5,000-sq.-ft. outdoor and sporting goods store, recently opened, and Feng, a 4,000-sq.-ft. women’s boutique is slated to open later in November.
New signage will be in place before the holiday shopping season while updated social media tools have already been launched.
Town Center Plaza is a 430,000-sq.-ft. open-air shopping center home to Macy’s, Pottery Barn, Anthropolgie, Madewell, J. Crew, Bravo! Cucina Italiana and more. Town Center Crossing is a 165,000-sq.-ft. open-air center home to Kansas City’s only Crate and Barrel, Apple, Lululemon, Trader Joe’s and Sullivan Steakhouse.
