Chuck E. Cheese’s and Claire’s sign new leases at Kendall Village Center
San Jose, Calif. – Chuck E. Cheese’s has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion of roughly 2,126 sq. ft. for a total of about 16,158 sq. ft. at Kendall Village Center in Kendall, Fla. To accommodate this expansion, Berkowitz Realty Group had to relocate accessory retailer Claire’s within the center.
Signing a new five-year lease, Claire’s has taken a roughly 1,059-sq.-ft. space and recently reopened on Sept. 26. As part of its expansion, Chuck E. Cheese’s will undergo a full renovation which ties into a nationwide rebranding. At Kendall Village Center, the upgrades to the family restaurant and entertainment destination will touch upon the façade, signage, seating, game room, kitchen, bathrooms, and more.
Located at 8651 SW 124 Avenue in Miami, Kendall Village Center features 276,000 sq. ft. of national and boutique local retailers in a pedestrian friendly outdoor setting and 159,000 sq. ft. of office space.
