Celebrity chef to open restaurant at Edens’ Mosaic property

Washington, D.C. -- Edens announced that Mike Isabella, of Bravo TV’s “Top Chef” fame, will open his Kapnos Kouzina restaurant concept at Mosaic, Edens’ mixed-use development located in Fairfax County, Virginia. The restaurant is slated to open in early 2016.



Mosaic will be the second location for Kapnos Kouzina. The menu will feature home-style Greek cuisine, rustic Mediterranean dishes and platters to share. While Isabella and his team work through plans to renovate the existing space along with a new roof-top patio for Kapnos Kouzina, Bravo TV’s “Top Chef Finalist” Jennifer Carroll will use the space as a pop-up for Requin, a French Mediterranean concept she and Isabella will open in Washington, D.C., in 2017. The pop-up will serve dinner only, Tuesday-Saturday, beginning this fall and continuing through the end of the year.
