CBL, Horizon break ground on second phase of Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City
Chattanooga, Tenn. -- CBL & Associates Properties and Horizon Group Properties said Tuesday that construction will begin immediately on the second phase of The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City.
The 28,000-sq.-ft. expansion is scheduled to open in November and will bring Columbia Sports, Ann Taylor Loft, Waterford, Kenneth Cole, Lucky Brand and more to the center.
“The outstanding selection of stores and eateries at The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City has directly led to the strength of the center’s performance,” said Michael Lebovitz, executive VP – development & administration for CBL.
The expansion comes less than 10 months after the original opening of the outlet shopping center, which, said Gary J. Skoien, CEO of Horizon Group Properties, “speaks to the strength of the market and the concept. As well, we have the capacity to further expand the center by an additional 31,700 sq. ft. and we expect to continue to add to the roster of top-shelf stores at the center.”
Completion of Phase II is scheduled prior to the 2012 holiday season.
