American Eagle expands globally; will open 40 stores in 2015


Pittsburgh - American Eagle Outfitters Inc. continues its global expansion with new license agreements in South Korea with SK Networks Co. Ltd.; in Singapore with Trendz 360 Pte. Ltd.; and in Greece with Notos Com Holdings S.A. Stores will begin opening in mid-2015, and American Eagle currently expects to open approximately 40 licensed stores in fiscal 2015

Store openings in South Korea will begin in mid-2015, with several locations planned to open throughout the year. The first store in Singapore will open in mid-2015, while the first store in Greece is scheduled to open in fall 2015.

American Eagle Outfitters currently has 111 licensed stores in 17 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Russian Federation, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Poland, the Philippines, Colombia, Panama, Thailand and Indonesia.
