Rack Room Shoes expands 'lighthouse' store footprint
Rack Room Shoes is expanding its new store format that aims to reimagine and enhance the shopping experience.
The footwear retailer is building on its strategic growth plan with the opening of seven new "lighthouse" concept stores in Colorado, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and Texas. The format features a flexible store design that incorporates an easy to navigate layout that can adapt to seasonal changes and emerging trends.
The new design enhances the presentation of key brands and seasonal assortments, and also improves the wayfinding of Rack Room's athletic assortment. The stores feature eye-catching elements along with upgraded service elements, including community seating. Integrated modern technologies in several locations allow for a dynamic digital presence.T
The newest locations join previous lighthouse format stores that are open in Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for Rack Room Shoes as we continue to grow and evolve,” said Molly Hartney, chief marketing and digital officer at Rack Room Shoes. “We are not just opening new stores. We are deepening our roots in communities, ensuring families have convenient access to the brands they love and the value they expect from us.”
