QVC's 'Christmas in July' event returns
QVC is competing with Prime Day by hosting a three-week long Christmas-themed event.
From now through July 31, QVC is holding its annual "Christmas in July” sales event, which the social commerce platform says will be its largest yet. Hundreds of specially-priced items across décor, gourmet food, fashion, beauty and more are on sale through the remainder of the month, while QVC's team of influencer and celebrity “Merrymakers” will bring joy to customers with exclusive content, curated picks and insider tips, the company said.
The month-long shopping event returns for its 38th year with a lineup that includes Elton John, Martha Stewart, Kathy Hilton, Kim Gravel, and Q50 "ambassador" Babs Costello, who takes on the festive new role of chief cheer officer.
As part of the event, a special "Christmas in July" programming event will be hosted on QVC's free TV streaming service, QVC+ and HSN+. Throughout July, viewers can get a head start on holiday gift giving, planning ideas and access to daily and weekly deals, including the July 8 series premiere of "Wrapped!," an original gift-wrapping gameshow hosted by Ricki Lake, and all-new seasonally-themed episodes of "Busy This Week" hosted by Busy Philipps, "Gift Boss" hosted by Chelsea Phillips Reid, "Open Invitation" hosted by Nancy Yoon and more.

Prime Day
QVC’s "Christmas in July” even overlaps with Amazon’s four-day Prime Day sale. According to data from Numerator, as of 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 8 (day one of Prime Day 2025), the average order size was $58.37, down approximately 1.7% from $59.78 in the same reporting period during Prime Day 2024.
