Primark continues U.S. expansion with Georgia debut
Primark is planning its entry into yet another new market.
The global value fashion and home retailer will make its Georgia debut on Sept. 8, opening a store at the super-regional Sugarloaf Mills outlet center in Lawrenceville, a northeastern suburb of Atlanta. The new store will span more than 26,000 square feet.
The first Georgia store brings Primark’s U.S. footprint to 47 locations. The brand says it plans to soon open its second Georgia location in Augusta.
The entry into Georgia is just the latest expansion for Primark. On Sept. 3, the brand will open its first store in Minnesota, at Mall of America in Bloomington. In July, it opened its first store in Indiana, at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis.
"Our expansion into the state of Georgia is something we're extremely excited about,” said Kevin Tulip, president of Primark US. “We're thrilled to bring the residents of Atlanta Primark's signature everyday essentials at affordable prices. We know that Primark's offering of quality fashion at exceptional value is more important than ever to today's consumers, and we're looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers from Georgia's capital.”
Primark offers its customers trend-forward fashion looks and everyday essentials at affordable prices, including women's denim starting at $12, men's tees at $5, and girl's and boy's sweatshirts at $8. Visitors to the Sugarloaf Mall store will also be able to find apparel from their favorite Atlanta sports teams, such as the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks.
