BOSS Facility Services announced that its president, Bob Keingstein, has lost his battle with cancer.
Keingstein was a true HVAC professional, with a passion and knowledge of the industry that spanned more than 51 years. He started his career as an HVAC apprentice for Forman Air-Conditioning at the age of 17 and fell in love with the trade. At the age of 23, Keingstein started his first HVAC company and never looked back.
Keingstein became involved with ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) at the local level becoming the chapter president of the Greater New York area. As his career progressed, he became involved at the national level and served as president of the association 1999-2000.
Throughout his career, Keingstein served on many boards and associations, received many awards and owned several businesses. In early 2001, he and his three children formed BOSS Facility Services.
Keingstein is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pat, and their three children — Keith, Kerri, and Kevin — and six grandchildren.
