Poshmark connects resale buyers and sellers via livestream

Poshmark is hosting real-time livestream events.

Poshmark is leveraging its livestream shopping solution to enable customer-to-customer resale transactions.

The online resale site is launching Posh Party Live, a real-time shopping event that allows buyers and sellers to sell, shop, and share curated merchandise via livestream. Poshmark first rolled out Posh Shows, a livestream shopping solution designed for fashion resale in the U.S. and Canada, in April 2023

Each Posh Party Live event is merchandised to a unique theme, such as summer neutrals and luxury goods. The offering allows buyers to search and shop everything related to the party theme, including listings, live Posh Shows broadcasts, and brands. The interactive Posh Party Live feed displays current, relevant auctions to shoppers.

Meanwhile, any Poshmark sellers can use Posh Party Live to to connect with customers, expand merchandise visibility and liquidity, and build community. Sellers can host their own Posh Show livestream to match the theme, or share an individual closet listing, where it can be featured in the Posh Party Live feed or by another Posh Shows host.

Every Posh Party Live event is led by 10 specifically selected party hosts who curate live shows and listings. Party hosts guide the live event by selecting “Host Picks,” which are displayed prominently, and by hosting live Posh Show broadcasts where they auction trending listings and spotlight other sellers.

They can also select other Posh Shows hosts to be a featured host, which merges the audiences and livestreams of two Shows, aggregating event traffic for sales.

Posh Party live events happen daily at 2 p.m. PT, with more event times to be added in the future. Every Tuesday and Thursday between June 18 and July 25, 2024, select creators will spotlight their favorite listings and shows that reflect trending aesthetics, seasonal styles, and popular brands.
