Pop Mart is expanding its East Coast footprint at Annapolis Mall.

A super-regional East Coast shopping center is slated to welcome several new tenants.

Annapolis Mall, serving guests in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore metro areas, is accelerating its leasing momentum with a series of new tenant activity, including the additions of Pop Mart, Aéropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch and Miss A, along with an upcoming expansion of Lululemon. The new store openings are scheduled throughout 2026, with the Lululemon expansion expected to be completed in 2027.

Several additional national and international brands will expand to the center in the coming months, including Dick’s House of Sport, Uniqlo, Jack & Jones, Dave & Buster’s, Offline by Aerie and Tesla.

“The breadth and pace of leasing activity at Annapolis Mall reflect both the strength of the market and the meaningful interest we’re seeing from national, regional and experiential retailers,” said ownership partner Sandeep Mathrani, founder of Atlas Hill RE, which purchased the 1.4 million-sq.-ft. center with Centennial last year. “With over 329,000 square feet of new retailers opening in 2026 and 2027, the tenant mix is being deliberately elevated to align with evolving consumer demand.”

  • Pop Mart: Pop Mart will open its distinctive “blind box” collectible toy concept at Annapolis Mall, expanding the brand’s presence in the greater D.C.–Baltimore region, where it currently operates only a limited number of locations. The new 2,400-sq.-ft. store will open this fall and offer surprise figurines and limited-edition designer toys featuring popular characters.
  • Aéropostale: The specialty apparel retailer focused on teens and young adults is scheduled to open a 4,279-sq.-ft. location in June 2026.

  • Lululemon: The global athletic apparel brand recognized for its performance-driven activewear and lifestyle products will almost double the size of its store at Annapolis Mall, and relocate to a brand new 5,575-sq.-ft. space in 2027.

“These additions represent the caliber of globally recognized brands we are working to bring to Annapolis Mall as part of the center’s continued transformation,” says Bill Baker, general manager of the center. “Today’s announcement reflects the strong leasing momentum we’re seeing across the property and reinforces our commitment to delivering retail concepts and experiences that resonate with today’s shoppers.”
