Perfumania, The Fragrance Outlet to open 40-plus new stores nationwide
Two sister fragrance retailers are plotting an extensive retail expansion.
Perfumania and The Fragrance Outlet, both brands of Obsession Holdings LLC, will open a total of 43 new locations at malls and outlet centers nationwide. The stores are expected to open throughout 2026 and 2027, and come on the heels of the two brands opening 31 locations in 2025.
Recent opening highlights include Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, Ariz.; King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, Pa.; Lenox Square in Atlanta; and Tanger Nashville in Nashville, Tenn., while upcoming openings include Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, Wash.; Miracle Mile Shops in Las Vegas; Miami International Mall in Doral, Fla.; and more.
Perfumania and The Fragrance Outlet offer a broad assortment of 1,000+ SKUs, including hard-to-find and limited-production fragrances. Obsession operates over 280 retail stores across 38 states between the two banners.
“Perfumania and The Fragrance Outlet have made remarkable progress in their journey, and we’re now seeing strong validation of our long-term expansion strategy across key markets nationwide,” said Frank Mroczka, CEO of Obsession Holdings LLC. “The specialty fragrance category continues to perform strongly within high-quality regional malls and outlet centers, and we remain focused on expanding thoughtfully within those environments as consumer demand evolves.”
RCS Real Estate Advisors is overseeing the expansion from strategy and site selection to negotiation and execution. The new stores range from 850 to 1,800 square feet at outdoor lifestyle, shopping and power centers.

At the same time, we are actively evaluating and testing emerging retail formats to identify new opportunities and ensure the portfolio grows in a disciplined manner.”
