PayMore expects to expand to nearly 30 states by the end of 2024.

PayMore Stores has reached a store count milestone with hundreds more locations in development.

The buy-sell-trade electronics franchise has opened its 50th location in Dublin, Calif., outside of San Francisco. The fast-growing retailer has signed approximately 450 franchise units over the past two years, and has opened 30 new stores in 2024 so far. PayMore added that it expects to open 15 more locations by the end of the year, bringing the chain to nearly 30 states.

New openings this year have included multiple locations in Tennessee, Arizona, Michigan, California, Texas, and Wisconsin, with single stores opening in a handful of other states.

“Our growth has been highly accretive — not only in awarding new territories but also in opening locations at record speed,” said Stephen R. Preuss Sr., CEO of PayMore Group. “This solidifies our first-mover advantage in the United States and beyond. The ease with which our franchisees are scaling and opening multiple units speaks to the strength and scalability of our model. We’ve proven our lighter lift dynamics, especially when compared to older, more traditional franchise options. Many of our franchisees are already opening their second or third locations, with several working on their fourth and fifth. We are the modern evolution of retail — combining brick-and-mortar, technology, data and e-commerce.”
