A rise in the number of COVID-19 cases has caused Paris authorities to clamp down on shopping.
Local officials in Paris are restricting the number of visitors allowed in shopping centers and departments stores, reported WWD. The new restrictions went into effect Monday Oct. 5 and run through Oct. 19.
The measure, one of a series of restrictions ordered by the Paris Prefecture, come as France has experienced a rise in COVID-19 cases in recent weeks and hospitalizations and deaths linked to COVID-19 continue to grow, the report said.
