Orvis taps tech partner for inventory management solution

Outdoor retailer Orvis is employing a new inventory management solution from its supply chain partner.

Orvis will now utilize FourKites’ Order Insights to improve on-time delivery (OTD), inventory management and customer satisfaction. The retailer, which specializes in men’s and women’s outdoor apparel as well as fly fishing rods, hunting gear and more, has been a partner of FourKites since 2021, previously utilizing its order visibility solution.

Now, Orvis is enhancing its shipping capabilities with Order Insights to gain a real-time snapshot of its network's activity. Customers can measure performance against critical key performance indicators, such as on time in full (OTIF), customer health, cycle times, fill rates and more. In addition, custom dashboards are tailored for customer health, order performance and potential risks, allowing Orvis to access relevant insights and keep supply chains running smoothly.
